. We rent bikes mainly for the front range resorts: Breckenridge, A-basin, Keystone, Copper, Vail & Beaver Creek. Our bikes are available for use at other resorts for experienced riders with advanced arrangements.
Does Keystone allow ski bikes?
At Keystone and Breck,
modified bikes are allowed as long as they have a seat, leash and skis with metal edges
. Bikes are restricted from all terrain parks.
Does Wolf Creek allow ski bikes?

Ski Biking is permitted on all lifts except the K-1 Express Gondola
. Half-day rentals are restricted to the Snowshed and Ramshead lifts only. Only Ski Bikes rented from Killington Ski Bikes are permitted on the mountain.

What are snow bikes?
A snow bike is
a conversion kit that takes a dirt bike and changes out the tires for a ski and track
. The three main companies who build them are Timbersled, Yeti and CMX. Timbersled was one of the pioneers in the sport, even though its a brand the name Timbersled is also becoming synonymous with snow bikes.

Riding the bike is easier than you would think
. As you make your way down the mountain, turns are initiated with the handlebars, and weight should always shift to the uphill pedal. With your weight on the uphill pedal, there is no way to catch an edge.

. And using your handlebars alone to turn without the proper body english is even less effective than on two wheels.
