Digital Member Bonus Card can be redeemed on or before the expiration date on the Digital Member Bonus Card (delivered via email)
. This card can be used in one qualifying transaction made at REI stores, REI.com, REI Outlet, or 1-800-426-4840.
How long does it take to get REI membership number?
Your membership packet will contain your new membership card and your Member Handbook, which describes REI’s member benefits and services in depth. If you’d like to know your number before your packet arrives, Customer Service can generally provide it for you

The now-defunct REI Outlet has been replaced by REI Garage, a closeout shopping website the brand promises is
more focused, simple, and quality-oriented than its predecessor
. REI announced the revamped outlet launch this week. REI Garage offers only “new, unused end-of-season closeout and previous year” items.

Can you shop at REI without a membership?
Depending on the specific store, REI sells this gear as “used” or “used Garage Sale” gear.
If the gear is associated with a garage sale, you need to be a member to buy it
. Some smaller REI stores don’t have a big used section, and in those cases, often the used/returned gear can be purchased without being a member.
How do I use my REI Rewards card online?
Just
make sure you’re signed in to your REI.com account with your membership number attached and as you check-out, your dividend will be available as a method of payment

Can I use my employee discount online REI?
Yes you can
. You have to purchase through the store to receive it. In order to place an online order from home and receive your employee discount, you have to call customer service (aka helpdesk).
What discount do REI employees get?
REI employees receive a
50% discount on REI Co-op Gear and Apparel
. The discount pro- gram includes 30% off our vendor merchandise and 10% off sale items. REI employees also have access to our vendor ProDeal Discount Program. Under the program, purchases can be made directly from vendors.
Can I get my REI dividend in cash?
Using your REI annual dividend is pretty straight forward. As soon as you receive notice of your balance, you can start spending. It’s good at any REI retail location as well as online and by phone.

Does REI offer military discount?
REI does not offer an individual Military Discount
, but they do offer a discount for large Military groups and have other options for saving. You can sign up for the Co-op Membership to get the beset savings on items as well as events.
