Side effects of Sentinel Spectrum
The following adverse reactions have been reported in dogs after administration of milbemycin oxime, lufenuron, or praziquantel:
vomiting, depression/lethargy, pruritus, urticaria, diarrhea, anorexia, skin congestion, ataxia, convulsions, salivation, and weakness
.
Does heartworm pill make dogs tired?

Sentinel contains Lufenuron, which prevents flea egg development and ends the flea life cycle, but doesn’t kill adult fleas; Trifexis contains Spinosad, which kills fleas

What is the difference between Sentinel and Sentinel Spectrum?
Sentinel Spectrum is a chewable flavored tablet whereas Sentinel is just a flavored tablet
. Some dogs may prefer the soft, chewy consistency of Sentinel Spectrum.

Why does my dog keep getting fleas even after treatment?
Not treating often enough
Fleas go through a life cycle of egg, larvae, pupae and adult. Most flea treatments just kill adult fleas, but fleas can continue to emerge for months after you think an infestation has ended. When a newly emerged female flea finds a host, she can lay eggs within one day.
How long should you leave between worming and flea treatment?
Whilst our motto is “When it arrives in the post, it’s time to dose” we recommend a
48-hour
gap between the application of topical flea and worm treatment. It does not matter which order the products are applied. The 48 hours simply allows each product to dry sufficiently.
What is the difference between Sentinel and Simparica?

Both products are fairly diverse and target different aspects of your pets overall health
. While Sentinel is mainly used to prevent infestation, not an active one. Nexgard however treats active infestations of fleas and ticks.
