Located 25 minutes west of Copper and less than 15 minutes to Vail is the only campground on the pass, Gore Creek
. It's a great spot for both RVs and tent camping. You can access some great hiking, biking and off-road driving on Shrine Pass, via Vail Pass a little closer to Copper.
