You can set-ups stacking units to utilize the space to the fullest
.
Do you need two grow tents?
These tents are incredibly convenient, containing chambers for propagation, vegging, and flowering. This helps to keep everything more organized, but most of these tents have limited vegging space. Because of this,
we still recommend going with two separate tents to enable growing larger plants for bigger yields
.
How long do I veg before flower?
Growers can switch to the flowering stage as soon as the clone has established a solid root system. In optimal conditions, plants should be kept in their vegetative stage for
approximately 60 days
. This time period should give the plant the opportunity to maximise yield and acclimatise to growing conditions.
How big should my veg room be?
Veg Room Set Up
A good rule of thumb is that
between 10-20% of your total light wattage in the Flower Room will be used in vegetative growth
. This means that if there are 50,000 watts in the Flower Room, there should be between 5,000 and 10,000 watts in the Veg Room.
Can you use one fan for two grow tents?
If it’s big enough, one fan’s enough for both tents
. It’s called dual-room extraction. If you’re gonna try this, pick a fan that can replace the air in both grow rooms 60 times an hour.
How do you get fresh air into a grow room?
An air extractor fan system
cycles out old air and brings in fresh air, which your plants need if you want them to thrive. Ideally, your extractor fan system should replace the air in your grow room every minute, or at least every three to five minutes. This means that you need to choose the right size fan for the job.

around nine plants
in a 4X4 grow space. This will give you about one square foot per each plant. Auto-flower plants will always be the same size as they do not have a veg period.

Grow tents
help gardeners create optimal growing environments indoors
. They are usually made out of flexible materials and include fans, lights, and sometimes carbon filters. The reflective material on the inside helps prevent hot spots.
Is 4 weeks veg enough?
The more light exposure a plant receives, the faster it’ll grow.
Most cultivators vegetate their plants for 4–8 weeks
. After this time, a switch to 12 hours of light per day is required to initiate flowering.
Does longer veg time increase yield?
The longer you keep your plants in the vegetative stage, the bigger your plant will be, resulting in bigger yields from plants that were vegetated longer
.
Can you use veg and bloom lights at the same time?
If you are growing marijuana,
you can start using bloom lights around a month or a month and a half (with veg on always)
. You can start with both switches on but would have to raise the light higher up to avoid ‘burning’ the tops of your plants.
Can you have too many bud sites?

. At the end of the pruning process, each plant should have 4-5 branches with multiple bud sites.
Should the veg room be bigger than the flower room?
Designated veg rooms are smaller than flowering rooms
– you can use the extra room for additional flowering space.
How much light do you need for veg?
The ideal light intensity for vegetative growth is
400-600 μmol·m
− 2
·s
− 1
. Once your light intensity has reached the level you want for veg and your plants are happy, let them veg away!

Should I leave my fan on when lights are off?
When lights are no more on plants, no more heat is generated. And the photosynthesis process takes a break. However, plants keep breathing and leaving vapors around the leaves. So,
oscillating fans still need to be on duty
.
Do you need a fan for grow tent?
Larger grow tents can benefit from using passive air intake as well but will require higher CFM exhaust fans
. Air intake is only a part of the indoor growing equation. Many factors like grow tent size, grow lights, and inline fans contribute to creating the optimal growing environment.
Do Grow tents need to be vented outside?
Proper grow tent ventilation is essential to healthy plant growth
, and proper filtration is equally essential to clean the air and remove all odors.
