The KICKR SNAP is designed to be relatively quiet, but it is normal to experience a hum or buzz while riding

. Please note that you may experience additional noise while performing a spindown or pedaling at high speeds.

When it comes to logging onto Zwift,

you can use the Wahoo KICKR SNAP 2017 as a straight forward power meter, or select it as an FEC trainer

. Currently, things work a little better on Zwift if you avoid the FEC option with the Snap.

How much does it cost to tighten a Wahoo Kickr snap?

Always use a slick (non-knobby) tire with the KICKR SNAP as knobs generate excessive noise and vibration. Use tires with a hard compound or a dedicated trainer tire to decrease wear and extend tread life. Tighten the roller

one quarter turn (90o)

if your tire consistently slips when pedaling.

How tight should Kickr snap be?

Wahoo recommends 2 full turns. Aim for a spindown

between 9-16 seconds

. If your spindown number is less than 9 seconds, you will need to loosen the tension. If more than 16 seconds, you will need to increase the tension.
