Can I use two different flea treatments?
Never use multiple flea medications on your pet, unless directed to do so by your veterinarian
. Fleas can be a very frustrating problem, and some medications may not produce immediate effects.
Can you use a topical flea treatment with Nexgard?
Combing NexGard and Frontline won’t help much more than using a single application. It is not worth the risk.
You should never combine oral and topical tick and flea treatments
regardless of which brands or chemical composition you’re considering.
Can you combine oral and topical flea treatment for dogs?
Yes, they work well together
. It kills the fleas on the animal, and the Advantage maintains the protection. They even suggest it on the box.
Is Frontline and NexGard the same?
Nexgard will kill ticks a bit quicker than Frontline does, but Frontline is both less expensive and easier to get your hands on
. Of course, Nexgard should be easier to apply, given that it’s a chewable tablet (assuming your dog will eat it, that is). Ultimately, both treatments should work for most owners.
Can I use Frontline spray and Frontline Plus at the same time?
Yes, all dogs and cats in the household should be treated with FRONTLINE PLUS or FRONTLINE SPRAY at the same time
to resolve flea infestations and household contamination.
Can I use other flea treatment with Frontline?

Frontline products should not be used in conjunction with Advantage or Advantix products
. Your pet shouldn’t receive a flea bath if they have recently been introduced to another flea or tick treatment (for example, if your pet was treated with a spot on in the past month).

Any immature fleas that are in your home or yard when you first give FRONTLINE Plus or NexGard to your pet will continue to develop into full-grown fleas, even after the mature fleas on your pet are killed.
Can I give my dog a flea bath after applying Frontline?

. If you bathe your dog before the application, there won’t be enough natural oils to carry the medication deep into their skin. If you bathe them shortly after application, you’ll wash the medicine away.
