bring empty water bottles that you can buy at the sports store, each person ca carry one in, and fill it up in the park.

Can you wear a fanny pack on rides at Great America?
The fanny pack will have to be put in a locker for most rides
. The belt will not be a problem once you pass through security. The buckle would probably set off the alarm and you will probably have to take it off to pass through.

Today, California’s Great America announced that it would remain closed for the rest of 2020
due to the ongoing challenges related to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic
. The safety of our guests and associates is always our top priority.
Can I bring a backpack to Great America?
California’s Great America is committed to providing a safe environment for all of our guests and associates. All guests arriving at the park are electronically scanned with a handheld “wand” and/or metal detector.
Guests are also asked to open any backpacks, purses or waist packs for a brief examination

Does Six Flags Great America require reservations?

Is Great America open year round?
The park is
not open year round
(it closes for part of the winter) but check for special events and festivals scattered through the calendar, such as spring’s Easter Egg-stravaganza, the Red, White, & Brews food festival over July 4th, and Winterfest during the holiday season.
Can you be too fat to ride a roller coaster?
Roller coaster and drop tower manufacturer Utah’s S&S Worldwide sets a
maximum weight restriction of 300 pounds
and includes a sensor on each ride to detect over-sized riders. These facts are enough to make most plus-size people nervous about stepping foot in a theme park.
How tall do you have to be to ride the Joker at Six Flags?
Height Restriction: Riders must be
at least 48” tall and under 72” tall
to ride. Physical Requirements: Each rider must maintain in an upright seated position with their head against the headrest during the duration of the ride and their arms, hands, legs, and feet inside the ride vehicle at all times.

Can I wear a beanie on a roller coaster?
Remember to take them off
if you’re going on roller coasters or hanging upside down on any rides, hats do count as loose articles. A lost hat could really damper your day of fun at an amusement park.
Can you wear a bag on a roller coaster?
Wear a fanny pack or use a VERY secure pocket that zips closed
. The coasters are intense. A cross body bag would make it very difficult to secure the harnesses on the rides. Plus it would likely fly up and smack you in the face.
Can I take a bag on a roller coaster?
A very small bag can fit into them
. We have ridden all WDW roller coasters while carrying bags and/or backpacks. Just put them under your legs, between the seat and your legs. Never had an issue.

What should I wear to Six Flags?
We want you to dress
casually and comfortably
, but in keeping with our family-friendly atmosphere, and for health and safety reasons, Six Flags America strictly enforces a dress code. Proper attire must be worn in the park at all times, including shirts and appropriate footwear.
Are pets allowed in Six Flags San Antonio?
We know you love your pets and we love animals, too. Six Flags Fiesta Texas offers kennel facilities located to the right of the Main Entrance.
Pets cannot be kept overnight and must have current vaccinations and registration tags

Can you wear a shirt in Hurricane Harbor?

To participate in the water park activities,
you must wear lined swimsuits
. We don’t allow guests to enter the water areas wearing street clothes, cut-off shorts, denim shorts or athletic clothing.
Can you take a stroller into Hurricane Harbor?
Strollers and wheelchairs may be brought into Hurricane Harbor for use throughout the park
