On the Plenty of Fish App: Open the conversation you have with the user you wish to block, and click on the three vertical dots on the top right hand side of your screen. This will display a drop-down menu where you can select the fourth option down, “
Block This Person
” (on iOS) or “Block User” (on Android).
Can you hide your profile from someone on POF?
After you
select the “Edit Profile” link
, at the top of the page you will see a line of text that reads, “To hide your profile from others, click here.” Go ahead and click this link. This will hide your profile, and you will no longer appear in the search results of other POF users.
Can you see who you blocked on POF?
The easiest way to determine whether you've been blocked by another user on the PlentyofFish site is realizing your inability to send him or her a message. If you are able to find the person's profile in a search, and even view it, but
can_not_ send that person a message
, he or she has blocked you.
Can I block someone without going to their profile?
Select whichever is right for you or else, you can select Block at the top. Once done, you can again go back to update the settings from the Privacy tab under Settings. With these settings above, you can block someone without looking at their profile or actually hiding from them.
Can you block and unblock without them knowing?
When you block someone, it'll mute all their posts and prevent them from direct messaging you. And if you ever want to unblock them, you can do so
easily without
alerting them. Unblocking someone will even re-add them to your Friends list if you were friends before the block.
Why would a conversations disappear on POF?
Your messages may not be showing up in your inbox even though you got a notification of a new message because:
The person who sent you the message has actually decided to delete their account before
you were able to read the message they sent you. All messages are deleted after an account is closed.
What does it mean when someone's picture disappears on POF?
Again
, though it seems self-explanatory, some members need a reminder of what isn't cool to be posting on your profile. If your photo is violent, graphic, distasteful, or offensive in any way, it just doesn't have a place on Plenty of Fish.
Does someone know if you block them on LinkedIn?

If the person hasn't logged in to POF in more than

, the “Last Visit” field will be empty. But, if the person doesn't show up in the search results, their account most likely isn't active at the moment.
How do you get around being blocked on POF?
- Go to “Edit Profile.”
- Find “Mail Settings” and view the list of blocked profiles.
- Select the person's name to unblock them.
- Now you can resume your conversations and send each other messages.
