Scientists at the
Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute's Center for Species Survival (CSS)
are working to study and save endangered dholes, also called Asian wild dogs (Cuon alpinus), by tracking animals with satellite collars, monitoring human-dhole conflict, and doing community outreach.
