What Application Does UIUC Use?

First-year can choose to apply to UIUC in one of three ways:

myIllini, Coalition, or Common App

. We don't give preference based on your application type. Only one first-year application is permitted per , and the first submitted application is considered official.

Why is UIUC not on Common App?

The Urbana-Champaign application process, which uses applicant-reported academic records instead of transcripts,

is not compatible with the current version of the Common App
