Why is it called Honeymoon Island?
During the 1930s, businessman Clinton Washburn purchased the island, which is north of Clearwater Beach. During a dinner with the editor of Life magazine, Washburn noted that

How long is the Lind Point Trail?
What is this? The Lind Point Trail is
about a mile long (one way)
and stays pretty flat. The only time you will encounter inclines is leading down to the beaches, or if you choose to do the Upper Lind Point Trail.
How do you get to St Thomas Honeymoon Beach?
From St Thomas: Take the ferry, which departs from Red Hook (the eastern most point of St Thomas) every hour on the hour in both directions—$7 per person each way—a 15-minute scenic and enjoyable ride. Once you arrive, make your way to the Visitor Center and choose to hike the Lind Point Trail to Honeymoon Beach.
