In short, here is my Big Sur Marathon race recap: it’s amazing! Suffice to say the course is beautiful, breathtaking, and scenery is hard to beat. Yet, it is a difficult course! ~2,500′ elevation loss and ~2,200′ elevation gain, with a

2.2 mile

uphill climb at mile 10 (this is the infamous Hurricane Point).
