Yes you don’t get paid much, yes you pay more to go than you get paid there but
it’s worth it
. Working with so many different kids from all sorts of life is amazing. There’s not much time off as well but it’s still worth it.
Where do they do Camp America?
Location: The camps are located in
Greeley, Pennsylvania
; about 45 minutes northeast of Scranton, Pennsylvania. All three camps are within a 1-mile radius of each other in the Pocono Mountains.
What is a Camp America interview like?
The people interviewing you will have been to work at camp previously and should make the interview
very relaxed and friendly
– it won’t be like going for a formal interview at a bank for example. Usually interviews are face to face but you might be asked to have one over Skype.
