are all ich resistant species.

What fish are most prone to Ich?


Tangs

are notorious for being the most susceptible to ich, which they are. If you will only quarantine or treat one kind of fish, it should be tangs. They do well with copper medication and a well set up quarantine system.

What fish are sensitive to Ich treatment?

New fish additions are typically stressed and have lowered immune systems, making them more likely to become infected.

Scaleless fish such as loaches, catfish, and eels, as well as silver-scaled fish such as silver dollars, hatchet fish and bala sharks
