When can Air Force recruits call home?

You can’t be stopped from attending services because someone needs you to sweep a parking lot
, but if you’re standing watch, there’s no one to replace you, and you’re unfortunately not getting off watch.

Basic Training
If you have NOT been to the Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) and have NOT taken an Oath of Enlistment, you are free to quit the process at any time
. Just because you arrive at MEPS does not mean you are fully committed with no chance of deciding not to commit after all.
Can you use the bathroom in basic training?

Do soldiers get their phones during basic training?
