What do you do at Space Camp?
- Train like an astronaut on the 1/6th Gravity Chair, the Five Degrees of Freedom simulator and the Multi-Axis Trainer.
- Construct and launch your own model rocket.
- Learn what it’s like to live onboard the International Space Station.
- Discover the newest rocket that will carry NASA astronauts to Mars.
What do you bring to Space Camp?
- Masks (previously worn so child is comfortable wearing them)
- Pillow.
- Bed linens (twin sheets, pillow case, blanket)
- Hand sanitizer.
- Spending money for vending machines – $1 denominations (or load wristband)
- Combination padlock (Please ensure trainee knows how to operate the lock.)
- Bug Spray.
Can a kid go to space?
There are reasons no kid has ever flown to space
. The chief one, of course, is the danger involved; the death of a child is always more tragic and heart-wrenching, and less acceptable, than the loss of an adult. In addition, the hazards of space radiation are more acute for youngsters than for grown-ups.

How do you become an astronaut?

Can you buy a planet?
No, people cannot legally buy planets
