You do not need to dust cali worms/phoenix worms as they are very high in calcium naturally
. One of the reasons why most feeders are dusted with calcium is because they are not high enough in calcium as compared to the amount of phosphorus they contain, so the aim is to try to balance the ratio.

. In order to keep your wild birds happy and healthy throughout the year you can either alternate between the two types of worms during different seasons, or mix the two together all year round.
