Does Jackson Hole allow dogs?
Jackson is a pet-friendly haven
, and your pet will love being able to explore the area with you. When it comes to travel in Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks, a good rule of thumb is that a pet may go anywhere a car may go (roads, campgrounds, picnic areas) as long as they are on a leash (6ft or less).
Is Jackson Lake pet-friendly?
Pets are allowed only within six feet of a road, in the campgrounds, and on boats on Jackson Lake
. That’s it. They can’t go on any of the multi-use trails or pathways in the park. And, when outside, pets must be crated, in a carrier, or on a leash no longer than six feet at all times.
Can I take my dog to Teton National Park?
Pets are allowed inside Grand Teton National Park, but they must be restrained at all times and are not permitted on hiking trails, inside visitor centers or other facilities
. A good rule of thumb is that a pet may go anywhere a car may go: roads and road shoulders, campgrounds and picnic areas, parking lots, etc.
Can dogs swim in Jackson Lake?
Dogs are not allowed in public buildings and on swimming beaches
. They are not allowed to ride in boats on park waters (except for Jackson Lake). Dogs have to stay within 30 feet of any roadway.

Can you bring dogs to Yellowstone?
Pets are limited to travel in Yellowstone National Park within your car, at a front country campground or within 100 feet of roads and parking lots
. They must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet and owners must clean up and dispose of all pet waste. Pets are never to be left unattended outside.
Can dogs go to Jenny Lake?

Can dogs go to Old Faithful?
Dogs are not permitted on any trails or boardwalks in Yellowstone
. This includes (but is not limited to) boardwalks and trails at Old Faithful, Canyon Village, and Mammoth Hot Springs. You cannot carry your dog in your arms, push him in a stroller, carry a kennel, put her in a backpack, etc. to get around these rules.
