The Gardens at Wynyard Hall are now dog-friendly
! Bring your furry friends along for a walk around our Gardens, and enjoy coffee and cake in The Glasshouse. Please note: dogs are not permitted in The Farmshop or Cafe and must be kept on a lead.
Is Helmingham hall dog friendly?
Well behaved dogs on leads are also welcome
. We have put in place measures to protect the safety of our staff and visitors. There is no need to book in advance.
Can you walk around Wynyard Hall grounds?
This self-led circular walk around the woodland, Wynyard grounds and by the stream is included with garden admission
. It took us around 30-40 minutes to complete and is very well signposted. It is around a 1.8 mile circular route.
Can I take my dog to RHS Bridgewater?
Apart from assistance dogs,
the RHS currently operates a no dog’s policy across all gardens, including RHS Garden Bridgewater
.

- Different textures from paving and grass, to cobbles and mulch.
- A path around the garden perimeter for the dog to run around.

Who paid for RHS Bridgewater?
Funding. The expected total cost of the project is £32.7m, of which the RHS has invested £15.7m of its own funds and received (by December 2019) a further £12.7m through grants and fundraising, including a £5m grant from the Garfield Weston Foundation and further donations from Salford City Council.
