We welcome any child (boy or girl) to attend day camp if they are of cub scout age (at least 7 years old or entering the 1st grade in fall 2018)

What grade are Lion Scouts?

Cub Scouts who join a pack are assigned to dens with ideally six to eight members, usually based on age: Lion Scouts (

kindergarten

), Tiger Scouts (first grade), Wolf Scouts (second grade), Bear Scouts (third grade), and Webelos Scouts (fourth and fifth grades).

Do Lion cub scouts earn Bobcat?

Kindergartners, who are Lions,

do not work on the Bobcat Badge

. On the advancement trail, a Cub Scout progresses towards a badge of rank based on their grade. They need not have earned the previous rank in order to earn the next.

Do Lion cub scouts wear uniforms?


Official uniform pants, shorts, or skorts, and Cub Scout socks are optional

. Use of these items for Lions is decided by the den leader and families in the den. There is no uniform inspection sheet for Lions.
