Yes, but it depends on the cost
. If you book your flights just as they are released you could well upgrade from economy from just £100-£200 extra each per person each way and then it is definitely worth the extra, but I don't think it's worth more than this.
Is World Traveller plus worth the extra money?
For me
it would be worth every penny as I wouldn't travel in World Traveller
. So only you can answer the question, only you know if you are prepared to pay the extra. More room and smaller cabin is what is important for many people and worth the money.
Are drinks free on BA World Traveller?
