Are there metal detectors at Hershey?

Hersheypark DOES have metal detectors
you now walk thru along with the bag check. They are not like the airport, but more like the security at a mall door. They don’t look like a metal detector at all, but if they hit, they’ll pull you aside and wand you.

. Before you exit they will ask you if want to return and, if you do, they’ll stamp your hand. They also let you know when you enter the park that you can re-enter as long as you have the hand stamp.
