Catalina Island offers two primitive campgrounds: Parsons Landing and Black Jack
. It's a moderately difficult hike or kayak to remote Parson's Landing, which is located seven miles from Two Harbors' Isthmus Cove.

. Permits are required as well, and will be issued upon your check-in at Two Harbors Visitor Services, Hermit Gulch Campground, or Island Plaza in Avalon.

Can you sleep on Catalina Island?
Camping on Catalina Island can be one of the most memorable outdoor experiences you've ever had! Located on Avalon Canyon Road approximately 1.5 miles from the Avalon boat landing. BBQ pits (no wood fires), picnic tables, coin operated showers/lockers.

Does Catalina Island have showers?
Coin-operated showers are located along the Casino Walkway
. A free saltwater rinse-off area is near the foot of the Green Pleasure Pier. Free outdoor showers are also available at Descanso Beach Club, along with changing rooms. Remember to bring your towel!
Can dogs camp on Catalina Island?
Dogs are allowed in the following campgrounds only: Black Jack, Little Harbor (excluding Shark Harbor) and Parsons' Landing
