After a divorce, the sponsor remains eligible for TRICARE . This is the same for the sponsor's biological and adopted children. The former spouse only remains eligible for TRICARE if he or she meets certain criteria. If not, the former spouse stays eligible up until the day the divorce is final.
How do I apply for Chcbp?
- A completed CHCBP enrollment application (DD Form 2837)
- Payment in full for the first 90 days of coverage (CHCBP must be purchased within 60 days of qualifying for coverage)
- Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty (DD Form 214) (if applicable)
Is TRICARE tamp automatic?
