The Legate’s camp is a location in the Mojave Wasteland in 2281. It is located east of Hoover Dam. It is surrounded by cliffs and mountains on all sides and is inaccessible for the majority of the game.

Can you swim to dry wells?
Trying to swim upstream will bring up the message, “
You can’t swim any further in this direction
” and the player character will hit an invisible wall. If he is still alive, meeting Ulysses after visiting Dry Wells will bring up new dialogue options.
Can Ulysses become a companion?

How do I get into the Legion safehouse?
The key to the house is held by Lucius at the Fort, and can only be obtained from him
. When speaking to him, he will offer it to the Courier if they have a “Liked” or higher reputation with the Legion.
Can you go to the Fort if you are vilified?
If you’ve already been to The Fort then you can fast travel there.
You can do this even if you are vilified by the legion, but you’ll be shot at once you arrive
. You can wear legion armor as a disguise, but the many guards at The Fort will quickly see through it.
Why is Caesar’s Legion attacking me?
If you are wearing NCR armor, the legion will attack you on sight
. The same applies to the NCR as well, legion armor causes them to attack you, even if you are on good terms with them. Helmets don’t seem to have any effect though, just the armors.

there is no way to save ED-E
, but if you gather all the upgrades (and get the ED-Ecated achievement) – you can add some new features to the ED-E at Primm. Many prefer don’t like Lonesome Road, but it is my favorite DLC.
