Similar to forging, you can bring broken weapons to the blacksmith to have them repaired.
You'll need smithing stones to repair normal weapons weapon or special metals like umbral steel to repair a hero relic weapon

Is AYMR a heros relic?
Despite its similarities in appearance and in-game abilities,
Aymr is not considered part of the Heroes' Relics
and is simply called a “Crest Stone weapon”. Linhardt explains that in legends, more weapons were created during the War of Heroes beyond the Relics of the Ten Elites that have since been lost in history.
