Yes, there are dedicated bike racks on all Waiheke Island ferries
. Using these storage options reduces the risk of your bike falling and causing damage or injury. E-bikes and e-scooters need to be stored on the back deck of the vessel.
Can I take a bike on the train NZ?

. Only a registered guide dog or assistance dog will be permitted to travel in the passenger lounge with their owner. Cats can travel to Waiheke Island either in your vehicle or in an approved animal carrier cage.

, as these are the most frequently-transported animals. A tiny minority of ferries readily accept cats and even ferrets, but most provide no information on the subject. To transport anything other than a dog we would therefore advise you do further research.

Accepts bicycles with foot passenger bookings for a small additional fee charge on routes between Portsmouth and France (Caen, Saint Malo, Cherbourg and Le Harve), Portsmouth to Spain (Santander and Bilbao) Poole to Cherbourg and Plymouth to Roscoff in France, or Plymouth to Santander in Spain.

Can you take dogs on a ferry to the Isle of Wight?
Dogs travel free on our three ferry routes linking the Isle of Wight to the south coast – when accompanied by a well-behaved owner
. On a clear day, they can amble on the car ferries’ outer decks and when the weather is not so good they can enjoy the short crossing inside the ferries’ dedicated pet areas.
Can you get on the tube with a bike?
In summary:
Folded bicycles can be taken free of charge on the tube at all times
. Non-folding bicycles can be taken free of charge on some sections of the tube outside peak times. Peak times are 07.30 – 09.30 and 16.00 – 19.00, Monday to Friday, except for public holidays.
Can you take bikes on Merseyrail trains?
You can take your bike on any Merseyrail train if there is space
. All trains can accommodate up to two bikes and space is allocated on a first come, first served basis – we can’t reserve space for bicycles. There is no extra charge for bringing your bike.
