The National Botanic Garden of Wales reserves the right to refuse entry to, or remove, any dog thought to be dangerous to visitors or other dogs. Dogs are not permitted to enter the Butterfly House, nor the children’s play area.

Hi David! So sorry but dogs are indeed not allowed , due primarily to health concerns for the animals on each side. (Since they don’t share the same habitats, they don’t have the same resistance to things that can make them sick.)
Visiting Botanical Gardens
Your attire should be comfortable and appropriate for the season – many botanical gardens are open year-round. Wear comfortable, low-heeled shoes for walking or hiking . Expect that your shoes will get dusty or dirty. Bring a sun hat or visor to protect your face from the sun.
Pets coming into the centre, with the exception of assistance dogs . Pets are otherwise permitted in the external spaces but provided that in all cases, guests appropriately dispose of any pet faeces. Shopping trolleys on the malls.
