The Peloton Bike uses Delta-compatible cleats, which you can affix to the bottom of our Peloton shoes or any pair of bike shoes with a 3-screw hole setup
. We encourage you to use the pedals your Bike comes with for an optimal ride. For the most secure ride, we recommend clipping in using Delta-compatible shoes.
Are Peloton shoes the same as cycling shoes?
If you’ve previously taken cycling classes in a Peloton studio or other atelier, the shoes you have may be a two-bolt shoe, which is not compatible with an at-home Peloton bike. In order to ride your bike, your shoes will need to be able to attach to Delta-compatible cleats.
Can I use other spin shoes on a Peloton?
Can you use any spin shoes on a Peloton?
No, you can’t
. You will need spin shoes that are either in Look Delta or SPD-SL cleat designs. Only these two cleats are suitable for peloton stock pedals.
Can you use SPD shoes on Peloton?
At-home Peloton bikes are fitted with LOOK Delta cleats and
commercial Peloton bikes are fitted with SPD cleats
, so as long as you have spin shoes with the appropriate cleat, you’re good to go.
Can you use AirPods with Peloton?
You can connect AirPods to Peloton exercise equipment through Bluetooth
. To start the pairing process, tap Bluetooth Audio in the Peloton’s Settings menu. Press and hold the button on the AirPods case (or the noise cancellation button on the AirPods Max) until the status light flashes.
Can I use Shimano shoes on Peloton?
Shimano IC3 and IC5 shoes have a 2-bolt cleat design which are
not compatible with the Delta cleats and pedals that come with a Peloton bike
. However, you can swap the Delta pedals on your Peloton bike for Shimano SPD pedals in order to use your IC shoes.
What kind of pedals does Peloton use?
All Peloton consumer bikes come with
Look Delta pedals
installed. If you need to purchase cleats (the gadget that goes on the bottom of your bike shoes to clip into the bike) to go with the bike, you want to purchase 3-bolt Look Delta Cleats.
Can you ride a Peloton without the shoes?

you can get away with without wearing shoes as long as toe cages that let you to wear your normal shoes are attached

for peloton delivery is a good rule of thumb, depending on your assembly requirements and budget. If the peloton crew went the extra mile and delivered a “white-glove experience”, they deserve a tip.

. Whenever you buy a bike or bike+, they both come with standard Delta-compatible clip-in pedals.
