You can only use your Marriott Bonvoy® Points to Gift an Award Redemption Reservation to another Guest
. You cannot use a Free Night Award Certificate to book a Room for another Guest.
Can I use my hotel points for someone else?
The major hotel loyalty programs generally allow you to use your points to book a hotel room for someone else
. In some instances, they even allow you to use a free night certificate, such as the ones earned on an annual basis with a cobranded credit card, to book a room for a family member or friend.
Can I book a Hilton hotel for someone else?
Usually you will be able to use the guest’s own name, but depending on where you’re booking, you may need to make the booking under your own name and add the other person as a guest.
Can I check into a hotel if it’s not in my name?
If you and your friend are listed on your booking then it should be fine, just say you will be checking in instead
. Else, you would want to email/contact the hotel beforehand so the hotel can verify you’re not checking in for another person that you don’t know.
Can I add my wife to my Marriott Rewards?
Members can transfer points to any other Marriott member, provided both accounts are in good standing and have each been open for at least 30 days with qualifying activity or 90 days without qualifying activity. Qualifying activity includes earning with hotel stays and credit card spend.

Generally speaking, the minimum age requirement for a certain individual to rent a hotel room is 18. However, if a guardian or parents put their name on the reservation, but the actual guest is their children or kid, then some hotels might go with the idea about it, especially if other guests are below 18.
Can I use my Chase points to book a flight for someone else?
You can redeem flexible rewards currencies for anybody via their respective travel portals. For example, if you hold the Chase Sapphire Preferred

Card,
you can redeem Ultimate Rewards points for flights via the Chase Travel Portal at a rate of 1.25¢ per point, and those flights can be for any person

Can my spouse and I share one Hilton Honors account?
No. As of 1 April 2004, multiple members may not share an account
. Hilton Honors members who have a Mutual Fund account as of 31 March 2004 will continue to receive Mutual Fund benefits.

Some hotels won’t extend them unless the person with status stands in front of them
. Some won’t care. Be warned that some hotels require photo ID to match the name on the reservation. When your husband does not check in, the reservation will be changed to your name anyway.
Can you add a guest after booking hotel?
Yes, you can add people to your room at the hotel desk
. I did this a few years back with my friends’ kids so that their kids could have express with mine. They were minors though, so we had 5 on the room reservation, 4 minors and me so no extra charges.
Can I add someone to my Marriott Bonvoy account?
Yes please contact us if you are traveling with another Guest who will be arriving first and need to add another name
. If your Marriott Bonvoy® Account is attached to the Reservation and your Guest checks in before you, you must stop-by the Front Desk upon arrival to receive your Membership Benefits.
Can I transfer my points to my husband?
If you add your spouse or family member as an authorized user on your Amex Membership Rewards-earning card, you can transfer your points to their frequent-flyer accounts 90 days after you add them as an authorized user.
