Cell phones and other mobile communication devices may be brought to Space Camp

, but we do not encourage or recommend it, as Camp is a time to learn, grow and make new friends.

Campers will dive into missions such as:

Mars habitation operations to solve possible emergencies

. A microgravity simulator, learning to work in a frictionless environment during a simulated spacewalk. Simulated spaceflight from Kennedy Space Center to Mars.

Can anyone go to NASA Space Camp?

Our weeklong student Camp programs are for

anyone age 9 – 18

. Our Family Camps experience are designed for at least one adult accompanying one child between the ages 7 to 18. Our Adult programs are for ages 18 and older (there is no age limit).

What time is lights out at Space Camp?

Space Camp resident assistant crew trainers are housed in rooms adjacent to student sleeping quarters. RA crew trainers are on-call every night, and camp staff is posted in each habitat from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. Hallway lights remain illuminated

throughout the night

to allow easy access to the restrooms.

Can kids go to space?

There are reasons

no kid has ever flown to space
