How to get there.
Travel 200km south along the Stuart Highway from Darwin, or 150km north from Katherine and turn onto Dorat Road.
Then turn onto Oolloo Road and follow the signs to the park. The last 17km into the park is a four wheel drive (4WD) track and is not suitable for caravans.

Fly. There are no flights that run to Kakadu; however,
there are airports in Alice Springs and Darwin
. Fly into either of these hubs and you can hire a car or jump on a tour to the park. Both airports have flights arriving and departing daily, so you’ll easily be able to book a flight for your preferred travel dates.
Do you have to pay to go to Lane Cove National Park?
Lane Cove National Park is open 9am to 7pm during daylight savings (until 6pm at other times). The park may have to close at times due to poor weather or fire danger. Park entry fees:
