Will & Grace’s co-creator Max Mutchnick told Deadline: We’re not coming back . There’s no version of us coming back. David and I don’t want to do it anymore.
The original show aired from 1998 to 2006. Similar to now, Will & Grace was cancelled due to ratings weakening over time . The original sitcom ran for eight seasons and won 12 Emmy awards. Fun fact: Will & Grace is one of the very few shows where each main cast member has received an Emmy for their performance.
Will and Grace’s relationship is based on a pair of real-life friends . The friends in question are Max Mutchnik and his childhood friend, casting agent Janet Eisenberg. Like Will and Grace, Max and Janet were an item in their younger years, only for him to come out as gay when they were both at university.
In the finale, Will and Grace have a falling-out that lasts for years . They each have a child with their respective partners, and eventually reconcile when their children (Laila and Ben) meet at college.
The entire season (along with the previous seasons) are all available as a box set. Peacock is available, at no additional cost, to people with Sky Glass, Sky Q, Sky+, Sky Go and NOWTV .

Yes! In the series finale of Will & Grace’s original run, Grace becomes pregnant after hooking up with her estranged husband, Leo (played by Harry Connick, Jr.), on a plane. The two later remarry, welcome a daughter, Laila , and return to NYC after living in Italy.
Right now, Marcus appears to be the father of Grace’s baby with very little doubt. While it would have been very Will & Grace for him to pop up when she’s eight months pregnant, unbeknownst to him, it looks like he will remain in the picture as long as she wants him to.
In the fifth season, Will and Grace decide to have a baby together through in vitro fertilization. The process is repeatedly delayed through a series of mishaps, however, and Grace changes her mind after she begins dating Leo Markus (Harry Connick, Jr.), whom she marries later in the season .
When Leo reappears sometime later, it is revealed that the marriage ended because Grace did not trust Leo not to cheat on her again, and because she was closer to Will than to her own husband .
Karen was born on January 12. Although she tries to keep her age secret, Jack reveals that she is at least 42 in 2001 , meaning she was in fact born around 1959. She has a sister named Virginia whom she calls Gin.
In the series finale Thank You and Goodbye, Grace and Jack decide to end their engagement, but they stay friends .
