In order to view your Indeed Resume,
you can log into your account at any time
. In your account, you will have the chance to edit or download your resume. You can also reach your profile at any time by clicking on the admin icon in the top right corner, and then “Profile”.
How do I edit my resume on Indeed?
- Log in to your Indeed account. If you have not created or uploaded a resume, this link will prompt you to do so.
- Click the Resume tab on the top left of the page.
- Click the pencil icon next to any section you wish to edit.
- Click Save at the bottom of the section to save changes.
Does Indeed send your resume?
Indeed immediately sends their version of your resume to the employer
for further consideration. Using this fast application process often includes additional questions posed by the employer.

Should I make my Indeed resume public?
Remember that if you do make your resume private, it won't be visible to potential employers. Unless you don't want anyone to know you're searching for a job, we
suggest making it public
so hiring managers could reach out to you. Also remember that your information (address, email, and phone) are not shared publicly.
How far back should a resume go?
Generally, your resume should go back
no more than 10 to 15 years
. However, every applicant is different and so is every resume, and there are a few other rules of thumb that can serve as a GPS as you decide how far back your resume should go.
Does Indeed change your resume?
We are working on improving our Job Seekers' experience, and in one of our recent updates,
resumes will be uploaded as-is without parsing or reformatting the files
. These files, however, are not able to be made public or edited.
Where does my Indeed resume go when I download it?

to the right of your resume on a desktop or laptop
and at the bottom of the page on your mobile device.

. However, the amount of time that an employer spends looking at a resume varies from company to company. Some employers may thoroughly scan a resume, while others may scan it for only a few seconds.

message. The hiring representative has actually screened and/or perused the resume to some degree, be it to rule out because some basic requirements were met or to send to the next evaluation party, which may mean to the representative needing the position filled.
How do I make my Indeed profile private?
If you wish to keep your entire resume hidden – click the ‘edit resume' button located to the right of your resume, then click the ‘
edit privacy settings

Does Indeed sell your information?
While Indeed does not sell your Personal Data
