Verify the spelling of the names is an exact match to the reservation that you canceled
, including any middle name if one was originally used. If the names have any special characters such as a space, hypen, etc you might need to call to get the travel fund to apply.
How do I cash out my Southwest travel funds?
You can redeem your funds by
going to the Southwest website at Southwest.com, by phone, through the mobile app, or at a Southwest ticket counter for future flights

Within 6 months after your travel fund expires, you can call Southwest airlines and request them to convert that expired travel fund to a LUV voucher
that will give you additional 6 months to use.
Can travel funds be refunded?
Travel funds are credit from a canceled flight that can be used to buy a future flight. The funds are tied to the canceled flight’s six-digit confirmation number. Can I get a refund for a Wanna Get Away® ticket?

Do Southwest travel funds expire?
Booking and canceling a flight booked with a travel fund does not change the expiration date
. Unless you can actually fly before the 18th you’re out of luck. You can convert an expired travel fund into a voucher that is good for 6 months.
Can I use Southwest travel funds for early bird check in?
You can use travel funds to rebook and change a Wanna Get Away fare to an Anytime or Business Select one, but
you can’t use travel funds to pay for Upgraded Boarding or buy EarlyBird Check-In

Can I convert Southwest travel funds to points?
In order to qualify for the points conversion,
your travel fund must expire on Sept. 7, 2022
. In addition, the name on the travel fund must match the name on the Rapid Rewards account.
Can you use travel funds twice?
You can apply up to 3 forms of payment for each reservation, so
you are allowed to use travel funds from multiple confirmation numbers at the same time
. Southwest travel funds are good for 12 months from the date of original purchase. You must use the travel funds by the expiration date.
How many Southwest travel funds can I use at once?
Held Funds –
A maximum of three Held Funds tickets can be applied per Passenger on each reservation
. If your purchase exceeds the amount available on the three Held Funds tickets, you will only be allowed to use two Held Funds tickets and another form of payment will be required for the difference.
Can you use Southwest travel funds for hotels?
Southwest travel funds are only the value of a previous flight and can only be used towards the flight portion of a new reservation.

Can Southwest LUV Vouchers be used by anyone?

Vouchers can be used by anyone
, unlike Travel Funds which are locked in the name of the original passenger. Be aware though that vouchers only cover the airfare portion, not any taxes or fees, which will have to be paid separately, with a credit card or travel funds.
How do I extend my Southwest travel funds?
Southwest never extends the expiration date of travel funds. Your best bet is to
wait until they expire and then call Customer Relations and ask for them to be reissued as a LUV Voucher
. The fee for this is $100, which will be deducted from the funds balance.
What if my travel fund is not enough?

Can you use 2 Luv vouchers?

How can a travel fund be used as a guest?

. Travel Fund is associated with the guest’s booking reference and not with the name of the guest. Meaning, you cannot use the travel fund to book flight for another passenger(s), unless you are one of the traveling passenger(s).
