The Ring of Kerry is a 111 mile (179 km) coastal road around Ireland’s Iveragh Peninsula. Technically, the Ring of Kerry is the horseshoe-shaped N70, but you can take a linking road, the N72, to make a full loop

Which is better Dingle or Ring of Kerry?

Plan your visit around the Glenbeigh Festival and Races which takes place during the summer on Rossbeigh Beach and after, meet the welcoming locals in a lively traditional pub. Stay overnight at the Towers Hotel, where the beach is within walking distance. Take a break from the car and cycle the Ring of Kerry.

How many days do you need in Killarney?
While you probably only need
one day
in Killarney itself, I recommend using the town as a base to take a road trip around the Ring of Kerry. Spend at least 2 days in Killarney for this reason. It’s possible to spend three days in Killarney or up to a week if you love to travel slowly.
Is the Gap of Dunloe one way?
In fact, you have a choice of driving it in both directions (either south or north), because
it’s a two-way road
. You can also drive the Gap of Dunloe as a portion of the entire Ring of Kerry, all in just ONE day.
Is Killarney Ireland worth visiting?
