Based off of how many questions it takes to reach a passing score, you could argue that
NBME 16
is the easiest, since they sent my analysis of my students have taken the test, you need to get the most questions correct just to achieve a passing score (in other words, each question is worth the least).

NBME 18 was 100% “predictive”
in the sense that I got a 262 on 18 and a 262 on the real thing. However, my average across NBME 15 – 18 was also a 262. The actual exam felt very much like NBME 17 and 18.
Is UWSA 2 predictive?
The variability in uwsa 2 predictive ability is
probably +-20
. If you end up on the wrong side of that variability you will end up failing.
Does the free 120 have explanations?
It is 3 blocks of 40 questions timed exactly like the USMLE Step 1, it gives you the exact same tutorial, and it allows you to check your answers (
without explanations
) once you've finished.

. If you haven't gone over the answers and you took it a while ago, I think it's fine to retake an NBME. Just keep in mind that there may be some bias in your score.

Are the new NBMEs predictive?
