The GTO was called “goat” because simple letter transposition to GOT with a long O is “goat”. Also, it pulled like one.
Phil Mitchell’s 1970 Pontiac GTO Judge convertible may be one of the rarest. Of the nearly 170 Judge convertibles produced in 1970, Phil’s red stormer is one of only a dozen or so featuring the ultra-rare Ram Air IV option and a four-speed manual transmission.
Over the course of its three-year lifespan (2004-06), production of the Australian-made Pontiac GTO was capped at just over 40,000 units, so that means just about every build combination is considered rare today.
