Can you bring food to NC zoo?
Outside Food and large coolers are NOT permitted into the Zoo . Guests are welcome to enjoy their own food at one of our picnic areas located outside the Admissions gates or in the parking lots.
How long is the walk at the NC zoo?
You can walk up to five miles which was just fine for us but I've seen some folks complain about that. There is a shuttle that runs between one end to the other. The shuttle is not really for viewing the animals though. It is a big zoo, just look at it on google or bing maps!
