What Does BBBS? Big Brothers Big Sisters seeks to change the lives of children facing adversity for the better, forever. We operate in communities all across the United States – urban and rural, Big and Little. Our mentors work with children in the community, in their schools, on military bases, and many places in between.
What A Sister Means To Me? Sisters are there, working right next to you in your favorite corner. To me, having a sister means late-night drives and new experiences. It means having an exercise partner, knowing each other’s friends, and communicating through laughter. My sister is my best friend, and I’d be lost without her.
What Does It Take To Be A Big Brother? Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be in a stable living situation. Commit to being matched in the program for at least one year (understanding the enrollment/matching process could take several months). Must be able to meet your Little 2-4 times per month,
