Are Car Seat Travel Trays Safe? My olders have lightweight plastic lap desks with bean bag-ish bottoms. They were cheap from Target forever ago. Anything in the car would be a projectile and potentially “unsafe” if you are in a crash, but I personally am ok with the risk of one. I wouldn’t buy something
