Can You Take Dogs To The San Diego Zoo? Are pets allowed in the parks? No. Pets, comfort animals, and emotional support animals are not permitted at the Zoo or Safari Park. Because we house significant populations of rare and endangered species, both the Zoo and the Safari Park are considered to be quarantined facilities.
