Can You Walk The Embarcadero? The Embarcadero offers a concrete paved walkway that runs right along the waterfront. The first stop is the Maritime Museum, where the Star of India, the ferry Berkeley and other historic vessels are docked. Why is it called the Embarcadero? It was constructed on reclaimed land along a three mile
