How Long Can The Average Person Hold A Handstand? Now after 11 years of gymnastics and 3 1/2 years of being out of gymnastics I can currently hold a handstand anywhere from 60–90 seconds most of the time, sometimes with on two step durong that time. It will take time and a lot of practice
