Did Kirei Die? Did kirei die? Unlike with Gilgamesh, Kirei concealed information from Lancer to ensure obedience, such as hiding Gilgamesh’s existence and refusing to explain the real reason why Lancer needed to watch over Rin. The latter evidently backfired when, in that particular route, Kirei died by Lancer’s hand. Does Kirei die in fate?
