How Do I Unlock My Thermostat? Press the UP/DOWN buttons to change each flashing digit, using the NEXT button to cycle through which digit is flashing. Press and hold the NEXT button for at least 5 seconds. The thermostat will return to the Normal Run screen without the padlock, and the thermostat is now unlocked.
