What Is Textual Typology? According to Tomaszkiewicz (2006:112), text typology (Polish: typologia tekstow) is understood as a certain system o f classifying texts on the basis of the field they belong to, their genre and purpose as well as the type o f discourse (translation mine). The notion of text may be defined form various
