How long after empty sac will I miscarry?
A blighted ovum will cause a miscarriage usually at

. Your body realises the pregnancy is not developing properly and starts to shed blood and tissue from the uterus. A miscarriage can be extremely upsetting.
Can you see anything on scan at 5 weeks?
In viable pregnancies,
trans-vaginal (internal) scans
