If you wish to remove Emrakul from the stack you can use another ways: Time Stop or Mindbreak Trap will do it perfectly fine. You can’t counter Emrakul by Remand, but you can target it and you will draw a card on Remand’s resolution. Mindbreak Trap exiles Emrakul from the stack. Voilà!
